Really nice night, very moderate breeze, super warm; 4 races with not much daylight to work with; downwind finishes are a bit rough, we could use some rules refresher on that one, one downwind finish was enough; I didn't seem to have enough anchors to set an offset and a gate so the gate didn't happen. No parking lot protests were had; the mosquitos were large and plentiful in the lot.
Eric Ochs sailed Moe to finishes of 6,2,5,3; I'll have to get him out more often. His first race OCS didn't help his cause, nor did a 720, but a couple more nights under his belt and he'll be elbowing his way to the front. |
