Three races in very light wind, and plenty of heat. Some dead spots on the course, but fewer than expected. Marcel was the king of light wind, finishing far ahead on all three races and making it look easy.
Big news of the day was that Murphy Olson, aged 10, was at the tiller for all three races with his mom, Dana, as crew and trounced his Dad (who was sailing with daughter Indiana, and Mia Slane...I think. Both of the Olson's boats had the same sail number and we didn't realize it until after race #1. All in all, Family #984 was in the mix all afternoon. |
